Does It Rain A Lot In Orlando?

No it does not rain a lot in Orlando. October through May are the driest months all having less than 4 inches of rain per month. The rainy season is June through September where most of the rain occurs in the late afternoons. Hurricane season lasts from June through November 30th and Junes is also the month we receive the most rain.

I actually live here and can say that based on my own 60 years of experience I wished it rained more in the winter months. The grass does turn slightly brown. In the rainy season you have to limit watering days or fungus will get into your grass.
