Lake Cawood in west Windermere FL is a beautiful body of water shared by many. The western shore of the lake is alongside Ancilla Blvd where thousands drive by daily and enjoy the view. There is also a pier on this portion of the lake for community use.

Lake Cawood has two separate communities on its shores. Each of those communities have lakefront homes and some of the homes have docks. There is no public boat launch on this lake nor is the lake connected to any nearby lakes by canal. Enjoyment for most is limited to it's beauty.

The communities are Summerport and Lake Cawood Estates. Both have some amazing homes. The lake thankfully has much shoreline which is undeveloped and likely will not be.
