Lake Olivia in north Windermere FL is a private lake. the good news is it does provide some beautiful views and contribute to the Cypress Creek and Wekiva watersheds. The best place to view the lake is as you drive by the homes on the southern shore. Very little unused shoreline remains.
Lake Olivia is almost in Gotha and toward the northeastern boundary of the 34786 zip code. This is a fairly large lake measuring over 1/2 of a mile across at its widest pointe. That is certainly enough of a view for most people and justification for the boat docks many of the lakefront homes have. The lake has zero public access other than peaks as you drive by.
The lake facts are few. The lake does have 88 surface acres and a mean depth of 17 feet. The mean depth is the middle measurement from multiple places in the lake itself. This lake holds an estimated 468 million gallons of water. The historic overall quality of the water is reported as good as of 2022. I hope this helps with your understanding of Lake Olivia in Windermere FL.
