The community entrance is on Lake Reams Road and this is the furthest south of any community in the area referred to as Windermere. It is almost exactly 1 mile from the community entrance to the castle in Disney if you were to draw a straight line.

In total there are over 360 townhomes in Lake Reams Townhomes. They were built over a 10-year period which ended in 2013. These townhomes have some competition on Reams Road but the community has done well in the real estate market.

Many of the cast members and managing staff in the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World lease or own in this community. The largest homes are just under 1,600 square feet. Royal Estates to the east has larger and newer townhomes.
