By far the best lake to live on in the United States is Lake Butler. The best lake to live on in the US should have a lot going for it. It should be spring fed, clear and be able to be enjoyed by your friends and family. It should also be in an area that you are proud to live in.

Not only is there just such a place but it is fairly unknown by most people. Millions, and I do mean millions of people visit areas near it weekly and never even notice it. However those who are affluent, golf fans or just fans of living in luxury are well aware of it. It's shores are lined with multi-million dollar homes and some of the largest homes in FL. Still this lake's charm remains and so do the historic homes and dirt roads found in the adjacent town.

The best lake to live on in the US is Lake Butler. Lake Butler is the namesake of the Butler Chain of Lakes. The Butler Chain of Lakes consists of 13 lakes connected to one another enabling you to visit each and never leave your boat. There are many more lakes here but they are not connected. Lake Butler and it's chain of lakes are located southwest of Orlando's downtown district and just to the north of Walt Disney World. Many who live on the lake witness the fireworks every evening.

Lake Butler is a private lake. By that I mean the ramps alongside the lake are all private. You can launch a boat from one of the two public launches on connected lakes and still be on Lake Butler in 5 minutes or so. The fact that it is private ads to the value of the homes along it's shorelines. Some of the most famous people in America have lived here or currently own properties here.

Incredible things to do nearby, hundreds of restaurants, the finest gated communities, low crime, great schools, spring fed lake which is clear and has fish what more could someone want than Lake Butler. It is beyond debate that Lake Butler is the best lake to live on in the US.
