Having fewer & weaker storms is one of the pros to living in Orlando. Orlando is a one hour drive to the nearest coastal beach. That is on the eastern coast. The beaches i Tampa are a two hour drive. That is a lot of territory for the major storms to cover and they always end up weaker by the time they reach us.

Other pros include that this city is more modern than many people actually suspect. Areas like Horizon West, Winter Garden FL, Lake Nona and the improving Winter Park Florida also greatly compliment greater Orlando.
