What City Is Closest To Disney World?

Windermere is the closest city to Disney World. How close? It is right across the street from Disney University. The downtown area of Windermere is about a 12 minute drive from Disney University which is really close to the castle. Quite a few homes in Windermere see the fireworks (and feel them) every night.

The area immediately next to Walt Disney World property to the west is known as Horizon West. That area is made up of Winter Garden FL and Windermere FL. There are brand new schools, beautiful homes, shopping and so much more going on there. Soon a 4 year university, Olympic training facility and I could go on and on.
